My big sister did well in her PMR (Form 3) exam last year
she got 5As and 2Bs
as promised, my DaD gave her RM50 for each A she got
wow! she's RM250 richer!!

oh and by the way, Mama Myron also gave ang pow to her!

Xander Had His Hair Cut

Grand-pa asked Xander's mommy to cut Xander's hair
so he had his hair cut before Christmas

We went for breakfast first
MoM wanted to take his picture alone but his mommy 'tumpang sekaki'

he is not afraid anymore
not like the first time he had cut his hair
The hair-stylist said "come here moi, sit here"
we all laughed
everybody were saying "not amoi, ah chai-lah"

New Year's Dinner

On New Year day we woke up very late
it was because we stayed up late the night before
we had to clear everything first
took a midnight (more or less a morning) shower
after we chatted about the day and night's event (like a post-mortem)
we went to bed around 4 a.m.

at night time, due to MoM's un-wellness
we ate out

we chose western food
so we went to Country Grill

their spaghetti is nice
same goes with the grilled chicken
hmmm...yummy

My MoM's choice of food
she ordered mushroom soup and a garlic bread to go with it

My DaD chose rice porridge
and water melon juice

My Big sister chose beef spaghetti

and big bro ordered a sea-food spaghetti

Later on, we went to CKS to buy a few stuff
we met Otiting and Inai there

after shopping
Otiting invited us for a coffee at a nearby kopitiam
then I heard them gossiping LoL
it was all about the new year's celebration at church
I can't mention it here coz it was a very sensitive issue hehehe
furthermore, MoM warned us not to tell anybody
okey-dokey!

Visited Grand-pa at His Kebun

My grand-pa missed all the events at home. He didn't want to leave his kebun coz he scared someone might break-in his house as it usually happened. So MoM and her brothers arranged to visit him and bring some food. They called it as 'miungu' a.k.a. pot luck.

MoM settled for non-meat dishes. MoM said, she had enough of meat, pork and chicken during Christmas. She fried 'ikan basung' and 'ikan kokoiton'. DaD helped her with the cucumber 'rojak' and the sambal belacan. MoM also bought 'bambangan' at Donggongon's market. Jojo's family bought 'chu-chap'...hmm..it's a pork! Darling cooked sausage.

Look at our faces. Do we looked starving? Yes, definitely. It was noon time. My empty stomach growling already ;)

Even Jojo also looked hungry! hahahaha

Makan time! Now I realized, Odie was not around too..

Grand-pa said, "kamu makanlah dulu, saya baru makan"
but in the end, he couldn't resist the ikan basung and bambangan, he went to eat juga :))

From kebun, we went to Elter's house to take grand-ma's chairs and sent to her house
we enjoyed the ride and Xander a bit jealous because we can sit at the back :))

Welcoming the Brand New Year 2009

We had simple gathering in welcoming the new year
MoM prepared 'mee sup'
