My MoM's birthday is just around the corner and it's approaching very fast. I tried to crack my head on what to give her but it was hopeless.

Anyone care to help me? Any idea? Please help, I'm desperate!

My Birthday

September 8th was my birthday. No big celebration for me. It was because I am only interested with by birthday present :) I got a new badminton racquet! Thank you MoM and DaD!

We were supposed to go for a dinner that night but unfortunately my brother not feeling well. In fact his teacher called my parents to fetch him at school. He was immediately sent to a clinic. Luckily it was only a vertigo. But he need to rest. That's the reason we didn't go out.

At last, my parents bought KFC and we ate at home. Hmm...a very quiet birthday for me this year.

Birthday Party

We were invited to a birthday party at Shangri-la's Hotel last sunday. The celebrant is the sister of my late grand-ma (dad's side), Mdm Lovinia Sompud. At first, I didn't want to go but my MoM said, this is the time to meet my other cousins, whom I never met.

This is us, so excited for the party. Looking foward to meet the rest of my cousins who live near and far.

This is 'Sumazau', a Kadazan's traditional dance. Other than this, they also had twist, dang-dut and shuffle (see if I can upload the video later).

This is line-dance. The only dance my MoM participated :) It is because, most of the time she video-taped the events.

A Karaoke session. My sis and bro together with our cousins, Joel & Anthonia sang 'Colours of the Wind' , a soundtrack from Pocahontas movie. My dad also sang with my cousin Milton. They sang 'Careless Whisper'. Later on, my sister did a duet with cousin, Elter. They sang a malay song 'My Heart'. Opps don't get confuse, the title is in English but actually it's a malay song.

Like my MoM said, I did meet some of my cousins. Wow! There are too many of them. I couldn't even remember their names. But I found my favourite cousin ;) He is so chubby. His name is Abel. He is the son of Mr Waky Taim and Mdm Esther Sompud (my dad's 1st cousin). And you know what, he is the same age as mine. Oh dear! He is bigger than me :)

Silly Mistake!

One small mistake and it was all gone! Yes, we forgot to disconnect our internet cable the other day and we were not home that particular day. We were at the Likas Hospital visiting my cousin Xander who was admitted there.

When we reached home, there was a blackout. My dad checked everything and he found out our modem and my brother's pc were damaged. Later, we were informed there was a great thunderstorms. My other cousins' modem also damaged. In fact everybody in the neighbourhood encountered the same problem!

My MoM bought a new modem and my brother's pc was sent for repair. Now I am using my sister's notebook.

Xander and myself. It was our last visit. He was recovering and back to himself! He looked a little bit pale though but according to his doctor, he is fine.

He was discharged on September 2nd. Oh yea. It was my aunty's birthday. Happy belated birthday dear aunty. I hope you did enjoy your day.
